The churches and other organizations that came out to serve accomplished a lot this year. From cleaning and organizing to painting and building, each project represents a valuable contribution to the community.
Our hope is that this impact extends beyond the work done on a single day. We hope those involved had the chance to recognize needs and develop relationships that will lead to on-going community engagement.
If you're interested in serving your city throughout the year but you aren't sure where to start, send us an email using the form below so we can help point you in the right direction. You can also subscribe to mailing list to receive updates and information about City Serve Day.
City Serve Day began in 2014 as a collaborative effort of Evansville area churches, in partnership with community organizations, to serve our city and catalyze consistent community transformation.
Churches collaborate around a day of hands-on projects to demonstrate Jesus' love for the Tri-State in a tangible way that brings restoration and positive transformation to individuals and the community as a whole.
Individuals and groups can sign up for planned collaborative projects, or they can connect their own projects to the regional event. We encourage groups to serve where they are and collaborate with others in their area.
